- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, deceptive business practices, false scarcity, fabricated endorsements, misleading income or performance claims, or concealment of material terms.
- Malware, credential theft, unauthorized surveillance, denial-of-service activity, security exploitation, circumvention of access controls, or distribution of harmful code.
- Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, content involving minors, trafficking, targeted harassment, threats, hate-based abuse, or encouragement of violence.
- Infringement or misappropriation of copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, publicity rights, privacy rights, or confidential information.
- Regulated products or services promoted without required licenses, disclosures, age controls, jurisdictional restrictions, or substantiation.
- Products whose central purpose is academic dishonesty, fake identity documents, evasion of law enforcement, or manipulation of democratic processes.
3. Prohibited distribution practices
- Unsolicited bulk email, mass direct messages, contact-list harvesting, purchased lists used without lawful permission, or messaging that violates anti-spam or telemarketing law.
- Posting where promotion is prohibited, evading community moderation, repeatedly reposting removed content, rotating accounts to bypass limits, or disguising advertising as independent participation.
- Fake reviews, paid reviews without disclosure, coordinated voting, purchased engagement, fabricated users, review gating, or incentives that violate destination rules.
- Automated access, scraping, form submission, account creation, or publishing that violates a platform’s rules, robots controls, rate limits, or technical safeguards.
- CAPTCHA bypass, credential sharing beyond authorized seats, session hijacking, proxy rotation intended to evade enforcement, or any attempt to conceal abusive automation.
- Publishing materially identical content across destinations when that behavior is prohibited, deceptive, or reasonably likely to damage channel quality.
- Incurring advertising, sponsorship, marketplace, or listing charges without the account owner’s express approval.
4. Required marketing standards
- Claims must be truthful, current, capable of substantiation, and appropriately qualified.
- Paid relationships, affiliate interests, sponsorships, incentives, and material connections must be clearly disclosed.
- Messages must accurately identify the sender and provide legally required opt-out mechanisms.
- Sensitive targeting and regulated categories must comply with applicable law and destination policy.
- Customer testimonials and performance examples must be genuine, authorized, representative or properly qualified, and not misleading.
- Generated content must be reviewed by a responsible person before external publication.
5. Enforcement
We may block a destination, require manual approval, request supporting information, limit automation, suspend actions, remove content from our systems, or terminate access when we reasonably believe use violates this Policy or creates legal, security, reputational, or public harm.
We consider context, severity, history, intent, remediation, and risk. Urgent threats may result in immediate restriction. We may cooperate with platforms, rights holders, and authorities when legally required or reasonably necessary. Questions, requests, and formal notices may be sent to hello@distributemyidea.com.
